Avril 19th au June 4th 2017

The AQRAL, whose mission is to develop interest in the book binding, artist’s book and contemporary bibliophilia in Quebec, was to participate in this great celebration of the history, wealth, diversity and the cultural vitality of Quebec’s metropolis. We therefore asked our members to observe the city through the books. So many looks on the city, on its past, present or future, its landscapes and its culture, that our artists carry.

The AQRAL is proud to present the work of over 50 participants, mostly from Quebec, but also from Canada, the United States and Spain. The exhibition will be the occasion to discover exclusive works created for the event, realized by the best artists and craftsmen of the book of here and, elsewhere. The Montreal exhibition will be punctuated by various events, including weekends and on May 17th, 2017, anniversary of the founding of the city. The entire program will soon be posted on the AQRAL website.
